Artwork based on a cancelled Mario sports game called, Super Mario Spikers ( [link] )
I personally love the gritty style from the Strikers games, so to have this again on another sports title would have been awesome! Instead we got Sports mix, which was ok-ish but kinda on the boring side...
Anyways, I wanted to do the whole cast for this "game" but then I just decided to go with the main guy in the title. This originaly came to mind months ago, but it wasnt until today that I finally moved my ass lol ( [link] this helped~ )
Was trying something new here, so I hope it worked out well.

Now that the new strikers game has come out using this same art style it makes this way cooler
