Hey guys

As usual, just an update on my current situation and obviously what I got going on in the art dept....sorta. So first off, everyone's favorite topic! *drum roll*


*Life*

I'm pretty sure I didn't really mention it in a journal, but I graduated this year. So yay, no more school! However, you all know what comes after school....yup, job searching. I have been looking and applying to places, which takes up my time and overall I can't exactly focus on art/comics like I used to or want to. My mind is not there. I'm in a weird spot right now and I'm sorta shutting myself out from the online world at times...I have my good days and my off days where I don't wanna talk to anyone I wanna draw, but I feel guilt for doing it because I need work. I am working a little bit here and there on stuff, so I'm trying to divide my time and get a routine going again.

*Comics/Commissions*

Okay, obviously in my current state I haven't made a whole lot of progress on the next page....I have the rough copy done however, and recently sketched some more panels. I'm sorta jumping from project to project cause I'm just not totally focused..AUGH! I will continue to update my progress on my twitter account which you can view from here. I might have something for this month, though I can't promise anything, but I will try to do what I can.

I'm still working on commissions to get the artsy flow going and to have some cash while I'm in limbo. I am taking a bit longer than usual due to job searching and all, so I just need and would appreciate your patience during this time and I will have your commissions done as soon as I can! It was also a holiday weekend, so I had very little time to work on stuff

Now this thought comes and goes depending on my mood, and especially when I hear how people can make a living off of it (oh, how I wish I could ;~; )....ANYWAYS! I thought up some rewards and would like your feedback and any kind of ideas you might have on the topic. Hey guys :3

I'll be heading off to the Fanexpo tomorrow, and every year I put up a poll to see who's going and to try and set up a meet and greet. Not many people have commented on it, I suppose either they don't know my intentions or just don't like to meet up with others over the net. That's cool though, it's not for everybody.

So if anyone is going tomorrow I would like to have the chance to meet some of you Within the last hour, either 5:30 or 6:00 I'll be hanging around the artist alley (probably at the end of Nobody's row) sitting at a table with my sketch book. Obviously I haven't shown a picture of myself online, so I figure it might be difficult to spot me lol. Hey guys,


So lately I've been feeling kinda meh when it comes to my art, which obviously led to this lack of motivation here. After I posted my recent comic page I sorta lost my recent drive and just couldn't push through anymore. I wasn't happy with my post, but I won't really go into detail about it. Just honestly, part of me wants to quit, but the other part of me says to continue...I hate when comics are discontinued, and I don't want that in my gallery and for myself. I still enjoy working on comics don't get me wrong, it just takes a toll on me sometimes. I do have the rough copy finished and started a few panels for it...so I did start the page at least.

I have just been trying to relax a bit and working on little things here and there, and for very short periods of time...I can't even work up much energy to ink stuff I already have sketched out. I do have commissions still, so hopefully if I work on those for a while I might have that spark to want to work on my own stuff again...for now, it seems like such a battle to get me to sit at my computer and color. I hate this. I'm also in such a heavy Pokemon mood that I do want to put out more Pokemon related stuff...and again, I lack motivation there too, only cause all the damn jokes for the series as been done already. Augh Still, I have a few ideas that have been lingering around, and maybe if I push a bit with a sketch or two it'll make me want to put those ideas out.

Sorry for the bumming update, just been feeling like this for weeks now and it's bugging me...figure I let you guys know instead of just staying in the dark. Also I will get to the birthday gifts that people have made for me, I'm just obviously not in the right mind set to leave feedback. No worries, I haven't forgotten.

I'm feeling a lot better now after that stupid bad luck of a fall. I still have some soreness on both my foot and arm, but overall I can walk and sketch again So I will continue those commissions that I owe, and sketch out the last panels for MzM p24. I actually sketched some stuff yesterday (including panels) to get my groove back, haha

Anyways, that's it, short and sweet.

Just a quickie journal since I can only type with one hand. I was out today and I ended up taking a fall, which in the end result caused my ankle to get swollen, and while landing I hurt my arm...thus not being able to draw (well, sketch anyways...I can still ink ). I hope it's not too serious...I might have to go for an X-ray though...augh!! I hate this So to those who have commissioned me you'll have to wait for my arm to heal. Those that I have finished will be uploaded on time, unless something comes up.

Hey everyone!

As I mentioned on my previous post (right below this one) that I was thinking of creating a Patreon. I went over things such as rewards obviously, but also the time that it would take and well, the strain that it would cause on me. I wanna get at least one main comic done, and I feel with Patreon I can't go at a comfortable pace...monthly would be very stressful for me, sadly So for now I decided to go with a Paypal Donation pool (located on my profile). I've had that idea a while back, and actually have it mentioned on the bottom of this journal, haha. Down the line I will consider Patreon again, but I definitely NEED to finish a series first.

Now with the donation pool it's obviously optional, it's really just for chump change to those who wanna support my work. So comics are not behind a paywall or anything, all content will still be free and posted here. It's basically a tip jar, haha I have been working really hard on my current comic page, so it's not like I'm just sitting here staring out the window (it does look nice out though..)-ANYWAYS! The next page will be uploaded soon~ There's just a few panels left that need coloring and text. Then what's next? I'm gonna do the rough copy for the next page, yo!

A couple of friends of mine (offline and online) told be about it and suggested that I should jump on it. I'm still not 100% on the little details, but I understand the basics. So lately I've been thinking about it, weighing the pros and cons on starting one....I thought up what kind of rewards I would give and how much it would cost. I plan on keeping it cheap ($1-$10), that way I don't overwhelm myself, and obviously have more time to work on comics like, MzM and SMB. If all goes well there and I keep things going smoothly every month, I can cut down commissions by...a lot! lol. I'll post the reward listings here once I get things up and running. I just wanna make sure I have everything ready to start this suckah

So yeah, who knows...I may start it in a couple of months or I might drop the idea altogether lol. Anyways, thanks for taking part in my recent poll, helps me get a better idea on zeh numbers Also, don't forget to look at my tweets on my profile, I update my comic progress there

Hey everybody! I'm baaaaaaack! ....or I never left depending if you read the previous update or not lol

Happy to be home, but also bummed of course...I had such a good time hanging with Nobody, playing smash and what not. She still owes me a match in Splatoon...(yes, I will get you >:I ). My first time at the Nintendo World Store ( I know they changed the name ) was sweeeet~ I didn't expect to get as much as I did on that trip to be honest, haha. They played music in the store from SNES to current tunes, and it's funny how I got to hear some Mario Party 2 there since me and my bro have been playing it recently They also had displays for Star Fox with the puppets from last years E3 Direct which I thought was pretty neat! I'll upload a photo of my swag, and maybe some of the other things I picked up on my trip. The drive though....holy crap, I was mentally drained and I wasn't even driving lol. Road, trees, and rest stops. That's it! Repeat over and over, lol

Me and Koji usually throw together some collaborations, but daaaaamn, I made her work this time around lol. So to everybody who followers her, you're welcome~   I hope you guys enjoy the little sketches we put together. I may, MAY, have gotten her a in slight mood to work on her comic, haha~ It's a maybe since she's pretty busy and all, but it was fun to go through pages and get pumped to update. During my stay I sketched some panels of my own comic~ Of course now that I'm back, commissions open up as usual, but not as much or as quick as before cause I'll manage my time to get the flow going for MzM, and hopefully I can have an update within a month or so. Obviously not a set time cause I have other stuff outside DA to take care of. Augh, gonna take some time to get used to not chilling with her. FUN TIME IS OVER...BACK TO LIFE, WAAAAAHHHH!

Well, aside from my exams...but still, WOO!!

So yeah, here's what's going on...

Volunteering: School is over, though I made arrangements to volunteer at my placement from third semester. This'll help boost my experience and look good on Mo-mo's resume So some days I'll be busy, but most I will have the time to draw~

Vacation: With all the work I've done in school I plan to go on a little vacation. On May 10th I'll be leaving to visit again. We plan to go to New York so I can go to the Nintendo Store there...finally, I can't believe it's happening

Commissions: Commissions are open since I need the money for my trip, I am only accepting USD for spending money. From now to the first few days there I will be accepting orders,but from May 10-13 I'm only taking sketches since I can't really work on color there. I'm trying to reach a personal goal to bring there, so anything helps!

Comics: Because I know people are waiting still ...Once I get back from my trip (May 22) I will begin to sketch for MzM and such In the mean time, I will try to balance commissions and leave you guys with a mini comic before I leave.


Comics2life: My friend, Joe from Nobody needs some Mario comics for his news show that airs every two weeks. It is for the Sara Elizabeth Centre, which is a charity program for youth/young adults with special needs.



I won't be able to provide a comic every two weeks, so if anyone would like to fill the gaps, please send Nobody a note with a link to whatever comics you have in your gallery or if you wanna create something within the 2 week period Comics must be done digitally between 4-6 panels, no mature themes, and not too much dialogue. Just enough to have some fun with the voices.

Well my week off is over and I'm back at placement/classes this week. To be honest I wasn't really relaxing since I had so many assignments to work on...some were due the week back and others later, but I had to use this time to make some progress. Every morning when I got up I added up having some anxiety just from knowing how much I had to do. To top that off, I needed to get in contact with one of my teachers and I got no reply back. They are supposed to reply back within 48 hours and I messaged her on Monday and on Wednesday   So yeah, I didn't have much time nor the energy to draw much...

Aside from school, we put one of our cats down and I'm pretty bummed about it. Me and my family made the decision since he was a handful and we dealt with it for close to 12 years....still, it hurts when we're feeding the other two and when I'm getting ready for bed since he always followed and slept next to me. The only thing good about this week was Deadpool and sleeping in.

I figure I let you guys know why I didn't post as much as I'd like.

Yeah I'm a little late on this, but been back at school for a few weeks now...just finished a full week at placement, so I was super busy This semester seems okay compared to the others, still keeps me busy, but not ripping hair out of my scalp frustrating lol....yet. :b


I have a few messages asking me about commissions and I still have two that I owe currently. I'll be getting a week off soon (Feb 15-19) so I will get to them then if not earlier. I will make it a mission to post my own personal work as well as a mini comic or two. These last few months better go quick....this is my last semester and I just wanna start my career! lol. Amiibo days are something I look forward to more during this time, sucks that the next one is in March =-=

Sorry that I don't get back to messages as quick as I should...don't take it personally or anything, I just get mentally drained by school and keep to myself

On a lighter note, I hope everyone is doing well. How's everybody enjoying Paper Jam btw? I haven't gotten my copy yet, still in the mail, heh.

Hey everybody! Twas my last day yesterday, so I'm free until Jan 13th! I would have updated and danced yesterday, but I was really tired, haha.


So yeah, getting back into some art today, starting with my annual Christmas day pic I'll get work on that done first before I get to new commissions or stuff that I owe (collabs) since Christmas is next week. I plan to post some minis during this time, so don't think I forgot about you peeps hungry for some reading material ;D I have about 3 mini's sketched, and I'm hoping to finish them all in between commissions. Hey everyone, Mo-mo here!


So I know it's been a while since I posted and well, even just talked to peeps here....school really squeezes the life out of me ;x;



School: I have 4 more weeks left this semester then exams, which I'm kinda lucky this time around since I only have 2 But seriously I'm preeetty stressed out....I still have quite a chunk of assignments to complete and they're worth 20%-30% each. I can't wait for winter break lol..


Current commissions: As said above, I'm busy with school...so I'm sorry for not getting started on those commissions yet. Once I have an opening I will get to them, I just don't have the brain power to work on them at the moment, so my free time goes to tv and games, or else my head will pop lol.


Color commissions: Right after my exams I'll open some color commissions to get me some Christmas cash. Keep an eye out for the journal update ;3


Comics: Within my 1 month break I'll try to get some work done on main comics, though don't expect a page to be completed. I may have some minis up for you guys, so that's something at least.


Amiibo: For those interested, I'll be updating my collection in December. It'll be a year since I posted my first collection, so let's the difference, haha~ and yes, I got the Animal Crossing ones

Super Mario Maker: I still have everyones stages, so no worries, I will play them. I just need some time and mental engery to get going, haha

Sad is me...today is my last day of summer vacation then it's back to hell tomorrow. I mean, SCHOOL! Sorry, don't know what came over me (har har XP)


As bumming as it is, I did have a pretty good summer   A few days ago I went to the Toronto Fanexpo as one last summer outing~ We were out all day and it was great! My bro took a picture with this random guy cosplaying as Jason Voorhess (Friday the 13th) and then actually got an autograph from Kane Hodder who played Jason in the series from 7-10. He wrote, "See you in hell", haha I met up with Nobody again, we chatted a bit and I gave her some sketches from my sketch book~ Twas nice, I just hope more peeps show up next year! Come on, I wanna meet you guys As for art booths, I visited Nobody and Nobody again, which I'm sure I will every year and I look forward to it -~- I bought a commission each, some buttons from Yves and a comic from Kevin Friends and some family members are encouraging me to open a booth there, and I am considering it...though I need just a bit more time to get my skill up I think. So yeah, somebody we might try it out Other little things I bought hmm let's see, oh, I got 4 old school GB games, a really cool Luigi figure that I haven't opened yet ( just like Mario, haha) and I randomly bought some Nintendo stickers. Dumb me though, since they were for a sticker album, so some of the stickers were puzzle pieces lol. My bad....give me a break, I haven't had a sticker album is years lol XD Aside from the expo, I'm happy I got nice chunk of comics posted and worked up a nice chunk of change with commissions during the summer. Thanks to everyone who helped out, it's really appreciated~

Now with school starting there's the holidays to look forward to, and the upcoming Amiibo day this Friday. Though, my class starts too early where I can't make it to pick up a few before school =-= but, we worked up a team to snag these little guys, haha. My schedule this semester is two days in placement, two days on campus, and one online course. I think the only thing I'm not looking forward to is once again, my placement binder. Before my last semester ended they gave us an outline of what we had to do for 3rd placement...and yeah, it scares me :I  Of course art is obviously going to sloooow down a lot! I will try here and there to post or snag some commissions, but yeah we all know skewl comes first. On a good note, the last page of Pranksters is almost done, so I might have it finished this weekend. I'm gonna sketch up the last few panels today with what little paper I have. I'm seriously low, I have like 4 sheets lol Well, in any case...wish me luck this semester, guys. Hopefully the stress doesn't  make me rage so much like last year lol.


I think that's everything I wanted to cover...most of you are already back at school, either started last week or starting today. I just wanna wish everyone a good school year and hope your summer vacation was a great one!

Hey everyone, tis time for another journal update, weeeeeeeeee~ ( yeah not that exciting :.)


Anyways, birthday is over, so it's back to work on stuff, haha. I already thanked pretty much everyone who came to my page, but yeah, thanks again For those who made me a little something, I will get to them in a bit later today. Been clearing out msgs like all morning, and I need to get some drawing done on my end I will say that I love them though~ That mention feature is awesome. Easy access, heh~

Since I'm in a super good mood due how well my b-day went ( on/offline) I will post SMB once I finish up the last two panels. I was gonna save it for when I started school so there would be something during my semester, but change of heart~ Also, after this page I will take a break from the main series stuff. It's hard to keep motivation high when you're been working on it for so long...it's been almost 8 years lol. Aside from that, I do wanna work on a mini series since I do have high interest in it, and I wanna try to complete it before posting it, or at the least, be ahead by a few pgs. So SMB and MzM need to be put aside in order for me to get this started. I hope you guys don't mind too much, but I'm sure the mini series will put a smile on youz guyz facez

Sketch it now actually, and will be worked on in between commissions~

Whelp, E3 and my little break are over. Some excitement and quite a bit of disappointment this year lol...Most likely tomorrow I will open color commissions, but will start working on them on the Monday. I will finish off whatever panels I have left on my comp and sketch a bit more tomorrow or something. Always need dah money after E3

But yeah, E3 though...it was an alright year. I gotta say that Sony won BIG TIME!! I am itching for a PS4 now cause of the new South Park game Their exclusives are good, but South Park was the real push I needed, haha.  Uncharted 4, The Last Guardian and Sony's new IP, Horizon, looked cool. Though, I will wait on reviews for Horizon, cause I looked forward to the Order and that seemed to be very bland. I also like Unravel from EA and Cuphead, though I think that one is only for Xbox On Nintendo's side, the only games (that were NEW) that got my attention were Starfox, Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam and Mario Tennis. Twas very meh year for them...I hope they can do better next E3, or surprise us with something super awesome during the year in a direct. Oh, and of course the over flow of Amiibo this fall/holiday is freakin' crazy! What's worse is I can't even pre-order them at EB anymore cause of Nintendo and their stupid ways...it's gonna be rough, so wish me luck guys

*sigh* Sometimes I just wanna kick Nintendo right in the face...very VERY peeved at them right now

Hey everyone!

Whelp, yesterday was my last day of exams, so my hellish semester is over! *dances*- though, I'm not totally out of the woods since I have to register for an English course on Monday due to my errors on my part So I'll have one class during the summer, I think 2 days a week until the end of July (if I understood the schedule correctly...cause something doesn't add up). I'm still a bit sour about the situation cause I wanted a complete summer AWAY from there lol...sometimes I feel fine, other times- GAH! I suppose I just need to be a weeks in and it won't bother me as much. I'm sure you guys would feel the same after a stressful semester no? I just wanna be left alone

So yeah, hopefully this class won't be deceiving cause I wanna DRAW (and earn some moneyz <o< ). And speaking of...I do have to get to things I owe such as contest prizes, collabs and a color commission I promised. Color is still not open, but I will take another 5 sketches for now then get sketching for SMB. I need some comics posted before September! Tis a must!

First off!-


Holidays

Happy New Year, everyone! I hope everybody had an awesome holiday, twas pretty good on my end, we just didn't get any snow for Christmas this year Me, my bro and younger cousins mostly Smashed for Christmas eve/day, but also played a bit of Wii Bowling and NES Remix (got it for my bro, haha ) This Christmas I got a GC Luigi controller, two Amiibos ( Kirby and Luigi), Captain Toad, The Evil Within ( so awesome ), some gifts cards along with some cash, and wait for it- SOCKS! Every time I do laundry I keep getting less and less socks..it drives me nuts, so you have no idea how happy I was to get some new ones, haha. Augh, shame all this holiday stuff is over...it's gonna be pretty slow

School

With the holidays over that means I r haz to go bak to schewl It opens on Monday, but with my schedule I get to go back on the 14th ( WOOP! ) Mondays are my placement days ( which I don't have yet) and no classes on Tuesday. This means I get an extra day for homework, and possibly some time for drawing you know what But of course, school comes first, so it all depends on how much I get done and how much energy I have left to even start drawing. We'll see how this semester goes though, maybe it will work out better for me than first. Oh god, how I hate the placement binders


Commissions

Commissions will continue, though they will be sketch only and I won't take a bunch at a time. Whatever I feel I can handle with this semester. I know there are some who are annoyed with me doing commissions, but I'm sorry, I gotta do them. I need some money while I'm in school, and with me having a hard time just doing the homework, it would be very difficult for me to juggle a job and school at the same time. Works for some people, but not me. So if the commissions bother you that much, I don't know what to tell you...unwatch me if you feel it's too much. I will still continue my art/comics at my own pace, I can't please everyone.

**DA story**

Been seeing a lot of these today, so I don't know, I guess I might as well join in for the fun of it, ha ha


Hmm, let's see, it all started when Mario, the princess and I went to Dinosaur Land for a vacation-

Anyways, back in 2007 and earlier in my teen life I would search up Mario art, comics, and cartoons ( Just about anything to get my fix lol. ) So I ended up following a few sites such as Lemmy's Land, The Koopatorivm, and The Mushroom Kingdom. They had some neat stuff, and at times not so great stuff. Like sprite comics...which I just couldn't stand Twas very hard to find some good Mario comics during that time. The odd time though, I would try to look for Luigi and Daisy art, even fanfics ( gah, embarrassing -///- ) and as most ( from what I've read in their DA stories ) went to Youtube to look for some art. I found some music videos with the couple, and I looked through the comments to see where they were from. Surprise! DeviantArt had my fix!


The videos had art from Nobody, Nobody and others ( which I don't remember sadly ) then about a month or so, later I joined DA. I was inspried by Nobody's couple artwork and overall style at the time, which led me to draw my small mini comic of Luigi and Daisy as little kids ( burn all my old stuff, BURN IT!! DX ) Although one of my bigger inspirations wasn't on DA, but on a Nintendo fourm. He happened to join DA a few months later, and that person was Nobody Seeing his short comics inspried me to give my own ideas a try, since I was ( still kinda am ) shy about my work Him and others like, Nobody ( that " Mmm, fish " pic from the Koopatorivm XD ), Nobody ( big Koopaling inspiration ), Nobody, and even Nobody, I kinda stumbled upon outside of DA and then eventually befriended here later on. Funny how things work

So that's my little story on how I joined the glory that is DeviantArt I've gotten quite a few mentions of me in other people's stories, and I couldn't help but smile a bit.  Since it was pretty much what I went through lol. Happy to know that my stuff got you guys to join

Hey, guys! Just here for an update on things. :3

Comics: As I said earlier in a previous journal, I would finish up 4 pages ( 2 from each series ) and start posting again. Well, SMB pg 50 is 2 panels away from being completed, so that'll be done this week. That doesn't mean that once it's done comics will go up. I have set a date to start again and it'll be on June 1st . Each page will be posted on the first of every month ( provided I keep this pace going. ) I will put up a section on my profile for each pages update, so if you are one of those who ask and ask when these pages are coming out, I will not reply to you anymore. Don't bother to read, I won't bother to answer you.

Current Style: Lately I've been getting some I don't know, " complaints" or the general need to point out your preference of style on how I draw Peach and Daisy. Stop, please. It's okay to have a preference, but to keep pointing it to me is getting annoying. I draw the style I WANT/LIKE. Not your preference. I personally didn't like my old style, so I wanted to improve on it. And quite frankly, it feels a little insulting when I'm trying to better myself and I get these remarks. I am not drawing my old style, simple as that. Critique if you want, but don't be rude about it. I will learn from my mistakes, and I'm proud of my current style/progress.

Donations: Currently this idea as been in my head lately, but I'm not completely up for the idea yet. Still need to think about it, so I won't say much for now. I will post a journal when the time comes.
